One of my New Years resolutions was to focus on my skin, making sure that I’m looking after it. I’ve never been the type of person to suffer a lot with my skin, which I’m grateful for, but when I do get spots you can really tell. They are very big, red and sore and they usually last a bit longer than the average spots. I mostly get them on my chin or forehead, which is very hard to cover up (even with the best of concealer).
However, I’ve recently come across the Soap and Glory Face Soap and Clarity Facial Wash. I try to use this every morning, and my skin really does thank me for it. You only need to use a small amount of the wash on your skin, and as the bottles are quite standard in size, it means that it can last for a while so you won’t need to stock up too often (we all know how expensive it can be to keep buying cleansers, washes and scrubs).
I’ve found that this wash leaves my skin feeling so soft and smooth, and it reduces the amount of spots I get as well which is always a bonus. Better yet, this product is suitable for all skin types so no matter if you have oily or dry skin, you can still benefit from using this product!
The one thing I will say is that this product is made with natural yuzu superfruits, which I’ve discovered is not one of my favourite scents. However, it isn’t too strong so you don’t need to worry about having it on you all day. Unless of course you love the scent and want to embrace it, then you might want to find something slightly different with a longer lasting smell.
These price at about £8.00 in Boots (if you live in the UK), which although may be quite expensive for a facial wash, as I mentioned before they do last a long time so it’s definitely worth the purchase.
If anybody has any recommendations for any washes, scrubs or moisturisers then please leave these in the comments below. I’m always looking to try out new skincare products! I know that this post is a little different to my previous ones, but if you enjoy reading reviews of products then let me know, I’m always up for feedback. I want to make this blog open to a lot of things!
