SUPERDRUG HAUL!

So I recently took a trip into Superdrug to see what new beauty bits I could buy, and I am pleased to say that it was a success! I thought I would share some of things that I bought, as I am super excited about these new purchases!

First of all I took a trip to the Rimmel London stand, where I found so many gorgeous lipsticks. I already have a few of the colours in the ‘Kate’ collection, but I saw this one and couldn’t resist. It’s the Lasting Finish lipstick in the shade 08, which is a dark pinky colour. The reason I went back to this range, as opposed to another brand, is because the previous colours I have in the Lasting Finish collection have always lasted the whole day, and they make my lips feel so lovely and smooth. They have a nice scent to them as well, which isn’t too strong. You can purchase this lipstick for £5.49 from Superdrug which is such good value for money, considering the quality of the product itself!

I couldn’t resist but check out the Revolution collection as well, considering I loved the previous highlighter I bought from their range. This time I picked up two highlighters and one eyeshadow palette. I went back to the Skin Kiss highlighter range, as I love the previous one I bought, but the one I chose this time was in the shade Dream Kiss at a cost of £5.00. This highlighter has a few colours blended within one palette, ranging from a light pink to a slightly darker purple, with a bit of green and blue mixed in too. I love how all of these colours look so beautiful together in one highlighter, and as like my previous one, it is very pigmented and the colour shows up so well on my fair skin.

I also bought the Rainbow Highlighter which is so pretty, and as like the Skin Kiss highlight, there are a mixture of colours from pink to purple. The design is super cute, in the shape of a rainbow of course, and I just couldn’t resist. Again, the colours blend so well together and they give you a bright glow. This highlighter cost me £4.00 which I am so pleased with.

Moving onto the eyeshadow palette, I purchased the Redemption Palette Iconic 3 which has such beautiful colours, quite similar to my Urban Decay Naked 3. I heard a lot of great reviews about these eyeshadows, some saying that they are a lot better than the Naked 3 and for a lot cheaper too, so I thought that I would check it out myself to see how they compare. I haven’t had the chance to use these properly yet, but when testing the shades on my skin, they were so pigmented and looked beautiful, so I am super excited to try these out! I bought this palette for £4.00 which is incredible value, considering you get 12 shades to choose from.

I have been looking forward to trying out the ‘I Heart Revolution’ collection for a long time now, and I am so happy that I have finally checked it out! I loved every single highlighter and blusher I saw in this range, and they were all super cute. However, I narrowed it down to two and purchased a blusher and highlighter. The blusher I chose was the Blushing Hearts Triple Baked Blusher in the shade Peachy Pink Kisses, and I am obsessed with it. The colour is so pretty, with a mix of light pink shades that blend so well to give you a subtle colour to your cheeks. You only need to use a small amount of this for a healthy glow, and the packaging itself is super cute! I bought this blusher for only £4.99, and I can tell that it is going to last me a while!

The highlighter that I chose from the ‘I Heart Revolution’ range was the Bleeding Heart Baked Highlighter. I absolutely fell in love with this highlighter, because the colour of it is so beautiful. It’s a bright pink shade with cracks of gold coming through, and it is just so pleasing to look it. This is highly pigmented and it looks gorgeous on your skin, giving it such a lovely glow along with adding some beautiful colour. I think this may be my favourite product that I purchased during this shopping trip, and I cannot wait to use it to its fullest! You can buy this from Superdrug for only £5.00, and I am so pleased with the value considering how great the quality is.

I’m very much looking forward to trying out all of these products, because I really have heard great things about them, especially the ‘I Heart Revolution’ range. I also just want to thank you all for taking the time to click on my page and read through my posts, as it really means a lot to me to know that all the hard work I am putting in is paying off! Happy Thursday!
